“Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow” is a very suitable name for Tetyana IVASHCHENKO’s collection made for “Textil-Lux” – the designer, who step by step implement classics of classics in contemporary fashion industry. Fall/winter 2009-2010 collection except traditional classic elements contained popular wide shoulders, metal shine of textures. Other popular trend – volume – was implemented into collection in raglans and a couple of tulipskirts. Men’s jacket with wide shoulders and office knee-long shorts, silver coats with patterns of different size were actual for those, who wants to see trends in classic also.
This season Elena BURENINA showed winter Africa. Expression of colours, forms, fractures, picturesque accessories – variety of emotions on the catwalk broke our preciously neutral tradition. So much from sincere joy and spontaneity was in this hyperbolizes volume made of wool and cashmere, in dress-coats, which emphasized curves of woman’s body. Designer stayed in frames of fashion laws – when top was tight and calm, bottom was allowed to widen and to bubble, in case in the lower part we have extremely tight trousers, then upper part might be draped blouse with jersey or chiffon blouses of complicated tailoring. And clothes I’m sure will be sold anyway, they look stylish this way”. For fall/winter Litkovskaya suggests loose tailoring – baggy jackets don’t hold the movements, double-breasted jackets and coats with broaden shoulder line and wide drapes works as cocoons. Dresses don’t emphasize woman’s forms, they construct the form and fringe of beads is their only decoration. Comfortable silhouette combines with comfortable tailoring.
