Designer Oksana Karavanska noticed: “This is not the first time I’m taking part in such kind of events. But this one was important for me not because it collected big sum of money. It was important to remind to our unsurpassed women don’t forget about their health and don’t be afraid to check it, visit doctors.”
“We were impressed by the sincerity and dedication in such a charitable event. Natalia is really worried about problems of Ukrainian. And it is good that she raises these questions and finds the opportunity to help the country with activities taking place abroad", - said Ukrainian designer Olena Burenina.
Olena Vorozhbyt: “If someone told me 10 years ago that I will show my collection at 5th Avenue in New York, I would not believe. A week ago we returned from the United States, with such charitable event. Apart from the moral satisfaction after participating in a charity evening we received a great interest from American show rooms in our collection. So trip was also successful for the business”.
Tetyana Zemskova: “We received a lot of positive emotions from this trip. First of all, because we get once again convinced that America is truly a democratic country that cares about its people, its achievements and no one feels there the man of the second class, which all have forgotten. In addition to the charity evening we had a very intense program. We also visited the Museum of the Fashion Institute of Technology. After this we’ve put a question to ourselves: why aren’t we able to be proud of ourselves and our national achievements in such way?”
One more participant of the event, designer Liliya Poustovit didn’t manage to come to the press-conference in time because of the traffic jam, but she told by the phone: “It’s pleasant to take part in such event and more pleasant is that this event was organized on such a high and qualitative level. Everything was very good, planed in advance and moderately. It was nice to see honorary guests and the presence of the Ambassador, and worthy public, which was able to estimate the significance of this event. I do care about this problem and I think it is very important - to be involved in such events.”
Volodymyr Nechyporuk summarized: “We are always stressing – fashion is apolitical, but not antisocial! That’s why we’re always trying to join to such a positive and useful projects within our possibilities!
